Remember when I wrote about Catch Me if You Can? It was the first time my husband and I went to The Academy of Music to see a show and we had a fantastic experience. Parking was easy, the venue was absolutely beautiful, and the show was phenomenal! It really was the perfect week-night date.
While I was at the Academy of Music that night, I caught a glimpse of a poster for The Addams Family Broadway Musical which is currently touring the country. It has been on my mind ever since, and I really want to see this show.
The Addams Family is a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams. It will make its Philadelphia premiere March 19 - 24 at the Academy of Music as part of the Broadway Season, presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization.
If you have never been to a show at The Academy of Music, it's something I highly recommend. Going to the movies or out to dinner is nice, but there is something about The Academy of Music that is really memorable.
